Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich

Breakfast was an "over the top" and "oh so good" Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich.

  • Brown crumbled breakfast sausage, drain
  • Cut two slices of sharp cheddar cheese
  • Scramble 1 egg
  • Toast bread and thinly spread with Mayo (we used Challah-the slight sweetness was superb)
  • Dash of hot sauce, optional

  • We also made a quick Broccoli Slaw for a side dish at lunch.  We added a couple pinches of white sugar to the dressing as well.  I love the extra crunch from the shredded carrots and sunflower seeds!
