I saved the turkey bones from last nights dinner and made broth tonight. I'm looking forward to using this soon to see if I can taste the difference in a recipe.

--leftover turkey or rotisserie chicken carcass
--bunch of celery, chopped
--2 cups or so baby carrots, chopped
--head of garlic, peeled
--3 bay leaves
--1 T Italian Seasoning
--6 cups of water
Place all ingredients into the slow cooker. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Remove slow cooker from the heating element and allow the stock to cool to room temperature. Drain vegetables, bones, and bay leaves. Portion stock into individual freezer bags or containers. I did 3 2-cup portions and 3 1/2-cup portions.
