"I voted for Obama, but couldn't resist trying" John McCain's Slow Cooker Ribs

These certainly score an A+ for easiness and tenderness!  But I suggest cutting back both the garlic powder and salt to ! Tbsp a piece.  Sorry McCain, it's just too salty for my taste!

  • 4 lb pork ribs, cut in half
  • 2 Tbsp garlic powder (I suggest 1 Tbsp)
  • 2 Tbsp salt (I suggest 1 Tbsp)
  • 2 Tbsp ground pepper
  • 3 lemons, juiced

Rub mixture onto ribs and squeeze the juice of three lemons over the top.  Cook on low 7-9 hours.
