Tuesday: leftover Buffalo Chicken Chili and Zucchini and Rosemary Potato Pancake's

New Years Eve: Gouda Cheese Fondue

New Years Day: Hoppin' John Cakes with Chorizo and Sauerkraut Pockets

Eating black-eyed peas on New Year’s Day, will bring you plenty of everything the rest of the year. Eating greens bring prosperity. Pork served with sauerkraut is traditional and the sauerkraut leaves are said to represent paper money.

Friday: Braided Savory Spinach Pastry

Saturday: Homemade Beer Cheese

Sunday: Chef's Choice

I was raised by a Southern woman so yes, blackeyed peas were always served on New Years. In my husband's household they had menudo.
