This sauce went so nicely with our cheesecake.
- 2 cups fresh blueberries, picked over
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice (added zest too)
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and 2 tablespoons water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium, and simmer until blueberries have broken down and juice has thickened slightly, about 10 minutes.
