Local Adventures in Kentucky

In between visiting family and friends, my sister and I had a little time for a few local adventures. We loved these places so much we’re thinking they should become a tradition.

Ruth Hunt Candy Factory, Mt Sterling KY, since 1921 and official candy makers of Churchill Downs and The Kentucky Derby

I was so enthralled with all the candies inside, I didn’t take one photo. Here’s the goodies we purchased.

I read about Wine + Market, Lexington KY, in Food & Wine magazine, we had a nice lunch here and took a chilled bottle back to enjoy.
